Q: How would you handicap the NFC North this year? I have a feeling the Green Bay Packers win the division and the No. 2 seed. Do they have a shot at the Super Bowl? -- Jack (Massachusetts)

A: Any team with the best quarterback in the league has a chance to win its division and the Super Bowl, Jack. Most prognosticators are picking Green Bay to win the North; hard not to see the Packers as the favorite. To get to the Super Bowl will be tougher, especially in a conference that’s chock full of really good teams. But if Green Bay gets hot at the right time, why not? Again, it’s a quarterback league. And the Packers have the best one. That should be good enough for a division title; we’ll see how much more Green Bay can do. A lot will depend on its defense.
